RIO UNVEILS LOGO FOR 2016 OLYMPICS

Rio de Janeiro: The logo for the 2016 Olympics in Rio was unveil Friday before more than one million New Year's revellers on Copacabana beach just before midnight.
The flowing symbol resemble three figures — orange, green and blue — embrace at the arms and in a flowing dance.

"The logo for Rio's 2016 Games convey passion and alteration. The passion of all Cariocas and Brazilians for sport and festivity," said Carlos Nuzman, president of the Rio Olympic organize committee, "Carioca" being a pet name for Rio's citizens. "And the alteration that the Games are already bringing to Rio and to Brazil."
