INJURED JEEV UNCERTAIN FOR ROYAL TROPHY

Hua Hin: He might have land here, but the injured Jeev Milkha Singh is still unsure for the fifth edition of the Royal Trophy, a much-awaited golf conflict between Asia and Europe, starting on Friday at the magnificent Black Mountain Golf Club.
Jeev, a well-reputed match-play exemplar, is a doubtful first course because of a back injury.
The competition is played in a Ryder Cup style featuring foursome, four balls and singles over three days.
Europe is being led by 47-year-old famous golfer Colin Montgomerie, who guided the protecting champions to an 8.5-7.5 win over Asia last year.
