AMERICAN WAYNE ODESNIK HAS DOPING BAN SUSPENDED

American Wayne Odesnik have a two-year doping outlaw suspended after 12 months, allowing him to return to action from 29 December.
Odesnik admitted in March to taking human enlargement hormone into Australia. 
An International Tennis Federation (ITF) outlaw - backdated to 29 December - follow but that has now been halved.
The ITF decision followed "considerable assistance provided by Mr Odesnik in relative to the enforcement of professional rules of conduct".

KIRAN KHAN LEADS ARMY’S MARCH IN NATIONAL GAMES’ POOL

PESHAWAR: Prolific Pakistani swimmer Kiran Khan won five gold medals on the opening day of the women’s swimming contest at the 31st National Games on Thursday.
Kiran, who is representing Pakistan Army at the nationwide Games, win gold in the 100m freestyle, 100m backstroke, 100m butterfly and the 100m breaststroke events. She was also part of the Army team that won gold in the 200m spread gold at the Islamabad Sports Complex.


Army now lead the medal table, with nine medals (six golds and three silvers) and 137 points. Their sixth gold came from Ghulam Sakeena, who won the 400m individual medley event.Sindh are placed second with three silver and five bronze medals and have posted 80 points on the board.

RAFAEL BENITEZ'S FUTURE WITH INTER MILAN IN DOUBT

Rafael Benitez's future as Inter Milan manager is in severe doubt after the Italian club described the present situation as "a mess".
Former Liverpool boss Benitez lead Inter to Club World Cup conquest on Saturday, but they are seventh in Serie A after winning the last five titles.
